African roots

During the 16th and 18. Century millions of Africans were abducted from their home countries after Brazil and enslaved. They came from different parts of their continent, they brought with them different customs and cultures. Sometimes a fascinating variety of rhythms and dances, in which they took during the enslavement of their pain and suffering expressed. In them by the Brazilian music with its roots, African Trommelrhytmen are still the basis for the Lundum, Batuque, Samba and Axé.
are most widespread in the African-brasiliansichen rhythms, and African traditions and religions in the north-east of the country, among other things in the states of Maranhão, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and of course in Bahia, the birthplace of the famous Brazilian carnival.
